flooded rice fields and timber holes
Rice fields are carefully maintained with water control structures such as levees and reservoirs, as well as brushed pit and levee blinds. This includes easy access with a tractor ride through the fields!
Timber holes can be hunted in numerous ways depending on wind direction and weather conditions. Brushed blinds with plenty of space for gear and shooting are available. Dog stands and tree hooks are prepared for standing on the trees! This also includes easy access with a wheeler ride and short walking distances.

DUCK DAILY LIMIT- SIX
LIMIT MAY INCLUDE NO MORE THAN FOUR MALLARDS (NO MORE THAN TWO OF WHICH MAY BE HENS), THREE WOOD DUCKS, TWO REDHEADS, ONE BLACK DUCK, TWO SCAUP, ONE PINTAIL, ONE CANVASBACK AND ONE MOTTLED DUCK.
THE POSSESSION LIMIT IS TWICE THE DAILY BAG LIMIT. BAYOU METO WMA HAS A DAILY BAG LIMIT OF FOUR DUCKS, WHICH MAY INCLUDE NO MORE THAN THREE MALLARDS (NO MORE THAN ONE OF WHICH MAY BE A HEN).
What to bring
Bring your duck hunting essentials. You’ll need your gun, camouflage clothing, hip boots or waders. Clothing will vary with weather during the season, so pack versatile gear.
For shells, bring #2 shot or BB (non-toxic).
License and duck stamps: Federal Duck Stamp, Non-Resident AR State Stamp, Non-resident 5 Day or Annual Small Game License, and HIP Registration.
